Pappu if you cannot run this organization, please close it, but don't ask of any IV non donor to donate for the cause, I proposed to you about holding a rally, IT IS A SHAME this organization FAILED to do ANYTHING AFTER 2007.

Just because you don't know what IV is doing and how much trouble these guys go through with meetings with lawmakers and USCIS and DOS and that too WITHOUT ANY DONATIONS. Can't you see the line on the top of the page - ZERO contributions this month. And last month - 25$.
These guys spend their valuable time advocating our cause and you say SHAME ON YOU.
Search your soul and you will find who really should be ashamed. I am proud of the IV CORE and although I have not contributed my time but at least contributed monetarily .
You guys want everything if you donate . I donate knowing fully well that a few thousand dollars in donations will not make the US Congress Pass a bill giving GC to all and eliminating the backlog.
I donate so that WE IMMIGRANTS have a VOICE and a PLATFORM so that someone will listen to us at least. Whether they act or not on it depends on them. We can't force anyone to pass a bill. The powers against us are very strong and they have millions of dollars.
I wonder who should really be ashamed - IV CORE who works hard for us without money or you who does nothing but type on his keyboard sitting on a chair !

If I-140 has been approved, would it still be fine to apply for transfer from H1-B to F1 status by using form I-539 & university issued I-20 ? How long does it take to transfer status from H1B to F1 ? When can one start school �. Only after I-539 approval or after only applying ?

It is not about politics, it is about ignorance of the people (including reporters). It is explainable, though - what do you know about... I don't know, laws around transporting hazardous materials, something you have never been exposed or subject to? Next to nothing. That's what an average American knows about immigration - their closest brush with that law was when their co-worker adopted a child from abroad. Of course, they do not know the difference between worker visas, and employment based immigrant visas (don't they even sound alike?).

So I know what you gonna do , next time when you meet the border patrol. Accept the fact that we are middle class , god and immigration fearing creatures, who definitely have a lot of anger and aggression towards these laws and discrimination but cannot do anything about it and Also we like the life style and show off to the relatives in the India, that you are smart and rich NRI, are the reasons, we are not leaving this country despite of all these things.

i suggest rather than talking big words, lets do something.
like someone on immigrationportal has drafted a letter to time warner stating the misrepresentation of facts by that rascal lou dobbs about h1b visa holders.
IV core team, once this july fiasco is dealt with, lets draft a long letter and send it to these senators with a copy of our pay stubs showing them that we pay what americans pay.
i had written letters to my senators and congressman and to NPR abt. the July 2007 fiasco. The more we stand by each other, the more difficult for anti-immigrants and racists to penetrate.

But their argument is this will add 500k gcs in one year whether it is a recapture or not. But it will not change any overall immigration numbers as most people will stay here by using AC21. Still their policy is anti immigration so they will oppose any immigration bill.Still one or 2 congressmen/Senator can block the bill by adding hundreds of amendments. So there will not be much time to pass.What you can do for this?

Are you married and kids? You are doing online one right?
GMAT score alone is not the criteria but they are a bit liberal on the online version. Your recommendations matter and your experience, essay and previous education credentials matter too. I am not sure about the cut-off for KD but I started part-time and converted to KD when I moved out of Indiana. My GMAT score was either 620 or 630, which I thought was on the lower end of the curve. I started my M.B.A a year before I got married and found it much easier to manage my time then. But these days my wife keeps complaining that I spend way too much time studying rather then with her. Managing with kids is going to be even more tough but definitely not unmanageable. I have colleagues, in my M.B.A program who are married with 2-3 young kids, who have said that I made the right move by trying to complete my M.B.A before having kids.
My intent is to just let you know that it won't be a cake-walk but then online will allow you lot more flexibility and time than regular or part-time M.B.A. You do not need to worry about attending classes and getting struck in traffic, assuming you could find a good school close by.

He did not pay you. Thats all. don't worry about it. Even I know people who got GC's even with a real degree I mean completed degree even from INdia. Its all LUCK.

I don't know if anyone is in or has been in a similar situation. But would appreciate sound advise on the next steps...
My wife and mine PD have been current since September 1st (PD: Apr 2006). We'd received a RFE in 2009 and we'd responded to it in June 2009. The status on USCIS states "Response Review" for both of us and that we should hear back within 60 days of receiving the RFE response which dates back to June 2009.
I've opened a SR, contacted a congressman and still no update or specific feedback since 1st week of September.
What should I do in such a situation?? Can I take an Infopass appointment even though 45 days haven't elapsed since opening SR?
What other avenues can I pursue to obtain concrete feedback on our applications?

Sorry to hear that..May be due to processing times are hanging at April,2007 i guess you may have to wait until your 485 RD falls into that or may be not...because some people are getting approvals irrespective of the processing dates not match with their 485 RD (received date)

No its 180 days since receipt date. It is safe that your I40 be approved but not necessary. The other condition is you are working in same/ similar job profile and you are getting wages equal or higher than what is mentioned in your LCA.
